An all-female event will be held on 19 December at 5.30 p.m. in Palazzo Marin, Sestiere di San Marco 2541
An event that will feature the presentation of musicologist Anna Rollando's book 'The Invisible Ladies of Music', in which the author will dialogue with writer and musician Maggie S. Lorelli about the female condition in art and society.
The event will continue with a concert by "Le Musae Ensemble" (Laura Bianco on violin, Alessia Dall'Asta on flute and Maggie S. Lorelli on piano), which will take us on a fascinating journey through the splendid music of women composers throughout history, from Clara Schumann to Mel Bonis, from Fanny Mendelssohn to the most illustrious contemporaries.
